Grounds for a Variance

A variance may be requested when the strict application of the Zoning Ordinance will deprive the property owner of privileges enjoyed by owners of property with the same classification in the same zoning district. Grounds for a variance include special circumstances applicable to the property such as its:

• Surroundings

• Topography

• Location
