Applications
Fill out and submit a Preliminary Plat Application (PDF) to the Planning and Zoning Department. View the associated fees.

Considerations
Planning & Zoning Department
The Planning and Zoning Director shall confirm whether your application is complete 5 working days of receipt.

Planning & Zoning Commission
Once a complete application has been received the Planning and Zoning Commission shall consider it at its next regularly scheduled meeting no sooner than 21 days after receipt.

City Council
Upon the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation for preliminary plat approval, the City Council may consider the proposed plat at its next regularly scheduled meeting.

Approved Plans
Approval constitutes authorization to proceed with preparation and submittal of engineering plans and specifications for public infra-structure improvements and the final plat.

Preliminary plat approval does not assure final plat approval. The approval expires if a final plat application is not submitted within 1 year.

Considerations
Planning & Zoning Director
The Planning and Zoning Director shall confirm whether your application is complete within 5 working days of receipt.

City Council
City Council shall consider the final plat at a regularly scheduled meeting no sooner than 21 days after confirmation of complete application.

Recording the Approval
Upon receipt of the required assurances and proof of adequate water supply, the applicant will provide the city with 3 copies of the approved final plat drawn in:

• Approximately 4 millimeters in thickness

• Permanent ink on Mylar

The director will have the final plat recorded and will provide a recorded copy of the plat to the applicant.
