The White Mountain Fire Coordinating group met today to discuss current conditions of the forest as well as the surrounding communities, and have made the decision to enter into Stage 2 Fire Restrictions due to an increase in temperatures and continued drying conditions. Stage 2 Fire Restrictions will go into effect today, May 13, 2025 at 6:00PM
Missing child from 1901 W. Deuce of Clubs, Elk Ridge Apartments, last seen approximately 9 am. Aiden Skausen, 4 years old, last seen wearing black shorts. Was riding a scooter but the scooter has possibly been found in the apartment complex. He is autistic/verbal. Last seen wearing teal shirt and red baseball cap.
Due to extremely high winds, the White Mountain Connection bus to Holbrook is not running today and will not be running tomorrow, Friday, April 17, 2025.
