Board Power & Duties

The Industrial Development Authority (IDA), a nonprofit corporation established in 1998, facilitates tax-exempt financing for specific purposes. Per A.R.S. §35-705 and the IDA’s articles of incorporation, the Council appoints three members for overlapping terms. Each of the three directors’ served an initial two-year, four-year, and six-year term, respectively. All succeeding terms are six-year terms. Directors must reside in Show Low.
