Vehicle Impoundment
All hearings are held during normal business hours only. Vehicle releases for vehicles impounded under ARS §28-3511 are issued during normal business hours only. If your vehicle has been impounded, please see the information below regarding the Arizona Revised Statutes on impoundment of vehicles.
If your stolen vehicle was recovered and/or if your vehicle was impounded by the Show Low Police Department pursuant to ARS §28-871, please view the ARS §28-871 information page for information about your rights and how to reclaim your vehicle.
Impound Notices
The Show Low Police Department will mail out notices of impound within 2 working days to each of the vehicle's party of interest. This will include the owner if not served at the scene, and any lien holder identified on the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) record.
The registered owner, owner’s spouse, and the lien holder have the right to request a Post Impound Hearing solely for the purpose of determining the validity of the impoundment.
Additional Impound Information
If your vehicle was impounded by another law enforcement agency, such as Navajo County Sheriff's Department or the Department of Public Safety (Highway Patrol), you must contact that agency directly for assistance.
