Smart Start Program
About the Program
The Start Smart Sports Development Program is a proven instructional program that prepares children ages 3-5 (pickleball is ages 8-10) for the world of organized sports without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Parents work together with their children in a supportive environment to learn all of the basic skills such as throwing, catching, kicking, spiking and batting. A parent or teammate must participate in program.

In this program, children will learn the basic motor skills necessary to play organized sports. The program will focus on teaching children and their parent or teammate skills in:
Batting
Catching
Dribbling or ball handling
Passing
Running
Shooting
Throwing
Class Details - Dates to be determined
January- Hockey, Register in December
March- Baseball, Register in February
May- Soccer, Register in April
July- Pickleball, Register in June
September- Volleyball, Register in August
November- Basketball, Register in October
Mondays 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Minimum of 8 child/parent teams for class to run
Register early to ensure class is not cancelled
