The Industrial Development Authority (IDA), a nonprofit corporation established in 1998, facilitates tax-exempt financing for specific purposes. Per A.R.S. §35-705 and the IDA’s articles of incorporation, the Council appoints three members for overlapping terms. Each of the three directors’ served an initial two-year, four-year, and six-year term, respectively. All succeeding terms are six-year terms. Directors must reside in Show Low.

The Municipal Property Corporation (MPC), a nonprofit corporation established in May 1992, facilitates financing the cost of acquiring, constructing, and equipping certain facilities for use by and for leasing to the municipality. Per the MPC’s articles of incorporation and bylaws, the Council appoints three members for overlapping terms. Each of the three directors’ served an initial three-year, two-year, and one-year term, respectively. All succeeding terms are three-year terms. Per the bylaws, directors must be a Show Low resident.
