In accordance with A.R.S. §9-499.15, notice is hereby given that the Show Low City Council will consider adopting a new fee for park bench sponsorships on January 16, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Show Low Council Chambers located at 181 N. 9th Street in Show Low, Arizona.

Background:
Historically, the City of Show Low has placed park benches throughout the City Park for the use and enjoyment of the citizens and visitors of Show Low. The city is proposing to adopt a formal bench sponsorship policy which will include adopting a $2,000 fee for the sponsorship of a park bench. The park benches will be 6 feet in length, will be made of recycled plastic planks and a heavy-duty black steel frame, and will be mounted to concrete. The benches will be fabricated locally, and the cost will include engraving and installation.
The new fee will be imposed pursuant to Section 2.35.010 of the Show Low City Code. If passed, the new fee will be effective February 15, 2024.
