[ARCHIVED] “Staff Picks” At Show Low Public Library

Show Low, Ariz. (April 24, 2015) – Looking for your next great read? Consider visiting the largest public library in Navajo County, Show Low Public Library, where library employees are always willing to help you find excellent and acclaimed books. Staff recently started placing “Staff Picks” bookmarks in some of their favorite books and movies for your serendipitous discovery. You can also use one of the library’s online databases, NoveList Plus or Books & Authors, to find book and author information at http://www.navajocountylibraries.org/navajo/databases.asp. Books & Authors has an interesting feature called “WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN,” which lets you browse by character, subject, location, and time period to get a visual representation of your matching books. And don’t forget to sign up for Author Alerts (http://authoralerts.org/index.cfm?SiteID=37) to receive an email or text message when Show Low Public Library acquires a new title by your favorite authors. For more information, contact the library at (928) 532-4070 or library@showlowaz.gov.
