[ARCHIVED] Procession for Fallen White Mountain Apache Police Officer David Kellywood

Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 29

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (February 27, 2020) – According to the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office, the procession carrying Officer David Kellywood from Taylor to Whiteriver will begin tomorrow morning, Thursday, Feb. 27, at 8:45 a.m. from Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor traveling through Show Low on US60 and SR260 through Pinetop-Lakeside to Hon-dah and then south on SR73 to the Chief Alchesay Activity Center in Whiteriver. The public is welcome to show their support along the route. After arriving in Whiteriver, Officer Kellywood’s body will lay in state beginning Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the Chief Alchesay Activity Center. Funeral services for Officer Kellywood will be held Saturday, Feb. 29, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chief Alchesay Activity Center, with interment to follow at the Chiefton Cemetery in North Fork. Large crowds are anticipated so please plan your travel routes accordingly.
