SHOW LOW, Ariz. (May 16, 2019) – The City of Show Low is now using a social media app called Nextdoor to disseminate information, such as road construction projects, to our residents. The information can be sent to specific neighborhoods instead of blanketing the entire city with information that might not be applicable to everyone.
Signing up for a Nextdoor account is easy. Go to www.nextdoor.com, provide your first and last name, address, and email address and then create a password. This social network is a great way to stay informed about what’s going on in your own neighborhood. Try it out to see if it's helpful to you!
Besides receiving important information from the city, many people will find Nextdoor helpful for a variety of reasons, such as locating a last-minute babysitter, planning a local event, or sharing safety tips. There are so many ways our neighbors can help us, and Nextdoor provides an easy way to connect with them.
