[ARCHIVED] Prepare Your Child’s Brain for Kindergarten

Interactive workshop for children and parents/caregivers

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (January 8, 2019) – A Kinder Prep interactive parent-child workshop to help children, ages 3 to 5 years, and their parents/caregivers prepare for kindergarten will be held on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 11 a.m. to noon at Show Low Public Library, 181 N. 9th Street. Kinder Prep pre-literacy workshops focus on the skills needed for entrance into kindergarten in language and literacy, social competence and social-emotional growth and pre-mathematics literacy. Sessions focus on inexpensive, at-home activities known to encourage brain development. Materials will be provided and participants will receive gifts for attending. No pre-registration is required, but a parent or guardian must accompany each child to the session. For more information, call (928) 532-4070.
