Learn basic individual skills for BMX racing
SHOW LOW, Ariz. (April 4, 2018) – Learn basic skills to become a BMX racer at a Summer Basic Training Camp in June, held at the Show Low BMX track at Nikolaus Homestead Park, 1001 E. Mills, for $50 per rider. All it takes is two hours a week for four weeks to learn individual skills and conditioning. Each two-hour class, on Fridays from 9 to 11 a.m., will be held on June 8 (Gates/Pumping), June 15 (Manualing/Jumping), June 22 (Turns/Pack Skills) and June 29 (Basic Training for BMX and Using the Track for Training). New riders must complete both Introductory Clinic 1 and Introductory Clinic 2 before continuing with camp. All bicycles and ages welcome. Loaner bikes and helmets are available.
