[ARCHIVED] Show Low Aquatic Center Offers Lifeguard Training in April

Become certified for future employment opportunities

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (January 8, 2018) – Become certified as an American Red Cross lifeguard for future employment opportunities with the City of Show Low. Lifeguard training classes will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays beginning Feb. 12 and ending Feb. 21 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Show Low Family Aquatic Center, 1100 W. Deuce of Clubs. The registration fee is $90, $50 of which is refundable if the student completes the course, receives certification and is hired by the City of Show Low. To graduate, a student must be 15 years old, able to swim 300 yards continuously and retrieve a 10-pound object from seven feet of water. For more information, call (928) 532-4130.
