Two dates to choose from in October
SHOW LOW, Ariz. (September 20, 2017) – Give your child, ages 4 to 10, the opportunity to be creative at an “Art for Kids” class at Show Low Public Library, 181 N. 9th Street. The craft is a thumb art project, one the child can take home and one that will be donated to Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center. Choose one of two dates — Friday, Oct. 13, or Friday, Oct. 20 — from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Only 18 kids per class so registration is required by visiting the library or calling (928) 532-4070. The classes are made possible by a generous donation from the Giggling Gwen Foundation, established in memory of its namesake, Gwen Van Kirk, to fund arts programs in Arizona that foster creativity, imagination and joy in young children.
