[ARCHIVED] Show Low Public Library Holds Nasa Mini-Camps

Activities to focus on upcoming solar eclipse

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (August 7, 2017) – As part of the NASA @ My Library grant, Show Low Public Library will conduct a series of NASA mini-camps for kids ages 5 to 13 each Thursday through August 24 from 4 to 5 p.m. These camps will focus on STEM- (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) related activities geared towards the upcoming total solar eclipse on August 21. No registration is required. In addition to these mini-camps, a special teen activity will be held on Thursday, August 31, also from 4 to 5 p.m. This activity will involve working with a green screen as we “broadcast from the moon.” For more information, visit the library at 181 N. 9th Street, call (928) 532-4070 or visit the library’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/showlowlibrary.
