$2,000 awarded by the Dollar General Literacy Foundation
SHOW LOW, Ariz. (May 24, 2017) – The Dollar General Literacy Foundation awarded Show Low Public Library a $2,000 grant to support summer literacy, one of four organizations in Arizona to receive the grant. Dollar General CEO Todd Vasos said his company “is excited to provide these organizations with funding to support literacy and education throughout the 44 states we serve. Providing these grants and supporting the communities we call home reflect our mission of Serving Others and it’s rewarding to see the impact [of] these funds.”
This grant award is a portion of over $7.1 million in grants awarded to more than 900 schools, nonprofits and organizations across the 44 states that Dollar General serves.
