SHOW LOW, Ariz. (August 11, 2016) – Whether you are an experienced geocacher or a novice at this increasingly-popular recreational treasure hunt using GPS (global positioning system) coordinates to find a hidden cache, it’s not too late to participate in the Route 66 White Mountain GeoTour, which launched June 1. You, your family and your friends can explore the many attractions of our region through the GeoTour, a regional tourism initiative sponsored by the City of Show Low, along with the communities of Eagar, Pinetop-Lakeside, Snowflake, Springerville, St. Johns, Taylor and Navajo County. There is no cost to participate in this self-guided geocaching adventure, which culminates in a chance to win terrific prizes at the grand finale event on Oct. 8 at the Round Valley Dome in Eagar.
