[ARCHIVED] Learn Basic to Advanced Babysitting Skills this Summer.

Become the most sought-after babysitter in your area!

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (May 20, 2016) – Teens and pre-teens can learn basic to advanced
babysitting skills and techniques this summer in a two-day class from Babysitter’s Magic Backpack creator, Melissa King. For $25 plus a $20 supply fee, children ages 10 to 18 can choose from two fun and informative sessions—June 7 and 8 or July 12 and 13—beginning at 1 p.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m. each day at the Show Low City Campus teen center, 620 E. McNeil.

Babysitters will learn step-by-step the basics of childcare and safety, plus learn valuable Magic Backpack techniques to entertain children, promote themselves to find babysitting jobs, manage money and records, and turn babysitting into a profitable, successful business. The training will teach participants to be professional and organized and, ultimately, how to become the most popular babysitter in their area.

Participants will receive a Babysitter's Magic Backpack instructional manual and certificate of completion. Class sizes are limited; early registration is highly recommended. The first 25 people to register will receive a free BMB backpack. Sponsored by Show Low Parks and Recreation, register at City Hall (180 N. 9th Street) or the Family Aquatic Center (1100 W. Deuce of Clubs) or online at
http://www.activityreg.com/selectactivity.wcs. For additional information, call (928) 532-4140.
