Halloween-themed festival is fun for the entire family!
SHOW LOW, Ariz. (September 29, 2015) – Celebrate Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 31, at the sixth annual Spooktacular Festival, presented by Naked Mobile, from noon to 8 p.m. in downtown Show Low on Cooley and 9th Streets. The free festival, open to the public, features the popular Trunk or Treat (a long tradition in Show Low), Power 95.7 Hot FM’s popular Scaryoke, Halloween-themed activities and games, pet and human costume contests, haunted house presented by Bilbie’s Interiors, a car bash, pumpkin bowling and food and craft vendors. All-day live entertainment on the stage includes a concert by the Lakesiders from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by the Spookarama with deejay Jennifer Jae (featuring zany contests with audience participation) from 7 to 8 p.m. This is a safe and fun way for families and children of all ages in the White Mountains to enjoy Halloween.
Local businesses and organizations are invited to set up and operate a trunk or booth to hand out candy and/or provide an activity for the kids at no charge—a way to market your business or organization and give back to the community at the same time.
Vendors who wish to sell their products are invited to participate for a nominal fee ($50 for food vendors and $25 for arts and crafts and product vendors). This opportunity provides exposure to several thousand potential customers who typically attend this event.
For more information or to register a booth or trunk, call (928) 532-4124 or e-mail Steve North at snorth@showlowaz.gov.
