Show Low Library Friends, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1984 to raise funds for library programs and amenities. The Friends operate the Garden of Readin’ used bookstore and host various fundraising activities during the year to support the library. Show Low Library Friends is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors selected from its membership.
The Friends' mission is to assist the library in its endeavors to foster literacy.
The bookstore accepts donations of gently used hardcover and paperback books, as well as audiobooks, movies, music and magazines to sell. The bookstore is located inside the library, and is open during the library's normal operating hours. Cash and small donations of items are accepted at the library's front desk; however, prior arrangements must be made for donations of large quantities of items.
Membership
Annual membership dues are $10. Individuals, families and organizations are eligible for membership. Membership applications are available at the library's front desk.
General meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the library building.
