Full-Time City Employees
All benefits are effective the 1st of the month following full time hire date.

Probationary Period
Arizona State Retirement System
The Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) program is mandatory for all full-time employees who are not certified police officers. This will cause a deduction of approximately 12.17% of employee gross wages. 12.03% is ASRS and .14% is Long Term Disability.
