Half of an inning is over when the offensive team has batted through the line-up. The last hitter runs all the way to home.
All team players are in the line-up and will play a position on the field.
A coach or parent volunteer should play the catcher position on the field.
Allow the defensive team to perform an out. The offensive player will be considered out if he/she is thrown out at a base, or at home. However, the outs are not counted in the inning. If the player who was put out really wants to stay on the base allow them to do so.
