School Resource Officers

Two School Resource Officers and one part-time D.A.R.E. Officer from uniform patrol participate in School Resource programs.  One SRO officer is assigned to the Junior High and High schools, and one officer is assigned to the Primary and Intermediate schools.  The Junior High School SRO teaches law-related education.  The D.A.R.E. officer teaches 10 lessons to fifth graders at the Show Low Intermediate School.

Show Low's SROs are responsible for other programs in the community as well, such as Shop with a COP and Trunk or Treat.  During the summer semester break, SROs assist investigations with caseloads, special investigations and field investigations. SROs also help Patrol during this time.
