General Investigations
Show Low has two full-time detectives and one full-time evidence
technician who handle general caseloads, special investigations |

| and field
investigations. The Investigations Division works on a case
management system in which any pending felony cases are assigned
to a detective and followed up on until the case is cleared.
In 2006, Investigations detectives: |

Were assigned 332 new
cases.

Cleared 359 pending and
new cases, 147 of which were cleared by
arrest.

Prepared and served numerous search warrants, resulting in the
recovery of thousands of dollars of property, drugs and other
contraband of crimes being recovered.

Recovered more than $24,000
in stolen property.

Investigated more than
22 alleged sex-related crimes.
-
Filled more than 350
felony complaints.
