Greetings from White Mountain Youth
Leadership,
We invite youth groups of the White
Mountains to participate in fun, challenging, outdoor experiences that
foster an appreciation for natural and cultural resources. We offer a
variety of outdoor challenge activities that take advantage of our diverse
White Mountain environment. Our program consists of core areas that include
Outdoor Survival (includes camping and hiking), Rock Climbing/Rappelling,
SCUBA, Fly Fishing, and Mountain Biking.
Below is a list of
upcoming activities. All of these activities are free, or at reduced
cost, but require
pre-registration online or by phone. Online registration can be completed
at

and phone registration can be completed by calling (928) 532-4140.
Completed Medical and Photo Release forms are also required to participate.
These electronic documents are found below under FORMS. You can complete,
sign, and bring them with you or your child to the their first White
Mountain Youth Leadership activity. Completed forms can also be dropped off
at the Show Low Aquatics Center reception desk. For additional information

NOTE: All overnight
activities require attendance at a pre-trip meeting (parents/guardians are
encouraged to attend).

Youth Leadership:
White Mountain Youth Leadership is an outdoor youth recreation and education
program being conducted with the cooperation of University of Arizona
Cooperative Extension, City of Show Low, Yellow Jacket Youth Center, White
Mountain Apache Tribe, and the USDA Forest Service. Our mission is to
improve the quality of life of youth within our greater White Mountain
Community by creating safe, challenging, outdoor educational experiences
that foster physical, emotional, and spiritual growth. |
