2008 Arizona Planning Association award for Best Public Education Program.  The award is in recognition of our 2008 General Plan Public Information Video, a 16 minute video produced through the joint efforts of city staff in the Planning & Zoning department and the City of Show Low’s City 4 TV.  APA Arizona President, Jill Kusy, AICP, presented the award to our city’s representative, Diana Hough, Administrative Assistant for Planning and Zoning. The association was impressed with the quality of this production and the outstanding response of the voters in the February 2008 election in approving our General Plan.  This year’s conference was held at the brand new Riverfront Conference Center in Yuma, AZ.
