    This is the biggest and best farmers’ market in the White Mountains. The Show Low Main Street’s Farmers’ Market & Art Walk begins its ninth season on May 26 and is open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through September 29 at Festival Marketplace (1034 E. Deuce of Clubs) and along Cooley Street between 9th & 11th Streets in Downtown Show Low.     The City of Show Low is partnering with the Dove Self-Esteem Project to encourage girls, ages 10 to 14 years, to develop a positive relationship with beauty, raise their self-esteem and enable them to realize their full potiential. Called "Girl Power," this program spans four Fridays in 2018 (June 29, July 6, July 13, and July 20). Girls can gain confidence by understanding and dealing with feelings about the physical appearance through a variety of activities, games and interpersonal interaction. Healthy snacks will be provided. Pre-registration is required. The Dove Self-Esteem Project was created in 2004 to help young people overcome body image issues and fulfill their potential by building positive body confidence and self-esteem. It is the world's largest evidence-based self-esteem program, reaching over 23 million young people across 139 countries by the end of 2016. Dove provides a guide and teaching materials.
