Smart Start Program

About the Program
The Start Smart Sports Development Program is a proven instructional program that prepares children ages 3-5 for the world of organized sports without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Parents work together with their children in a supportive environment to learn all of the basic skills such as throwing, catching, kicking, and batting. A parent or teammate must participate in program.
  
2016 Program
In this program, children will learn the basic motor skills necessary to play organized baseball, basketball, and soccer. The program will focus on teaching children and their parent or teammate skills in:
  • Batting
  • Catching
  • Dribbling or ball handling
  • Passing
  • Running
  • Shooting
  • Throwing
Class Details
  • Session 1  Football - September 7
  • Session 2 Baseball - October 5
  • Session 3 Soccer - November 2
  • Session 4 Basketball - December 7
  • 5:30pm to 6:30pm
  • $20 per child / parent team or $60 for all four classes
  • Minimum of 10 child/parent teams for class to run
  • Register early to ensure class is not cancelled
